This morning I realized that the odor I smelled each morning in the bathroom was not coming from me after all but from my hairbrush. So I gave it a bath.
Then I realized that blogging is like that.
All of us communicate every day, but those of us who write daily or weekly need to brush up.
We use the tools of grammar, a silver tongue, word processor, blog; figuratively, we have a large paintbrush. Do we carry out the requisite maintenance on it? Do we look up grammatical constructions, learn four new words each day, search out new software tricks, proofread our blog, check out your website as a visitor would? Perhaps we should give them a bath every now and again.
What a sweet smell!
